Our Vision and Mission
We founded complemental.ai on the core believe that human and AI intelligence will be complements in hybrid, co-intelligent organizations of the future and that to leverage the full potential of AI to boost organizational productivity, a new strategy to how information flows intelligently and autonomously between humans and AI is needed.
In many companies today, knowledge is hidden away in human minds and existing data only provides a very limited source of context for AI and an inefficient way to acquire knowledge for humans as well. As existing knowledge management strategies and products have failed to address the human element, we put our heads down to rethink knowledge sharing and information flows in the age of AI and went on our mission to build a holistic end-2-end solution that optimizes information flows and the preservation of knowledge for humans and AI alike, bridging existing silos with the easiest means of sharing knowledge: through conversation.
More than just providing a product, our philosophy is to provide organizations with a strategy to maximize their productivity gains in AI and build their most important strategic asset, knowledge digitized and optimized for humans and AI to come out on top in the age of AI.
Before co-founding complemental.ai out of the desire to lift the true potential that AI has in transforming the information processing in organizations, Armin led the AI strategy and organizational transformation of the G2M activities of Germany's largest university, IU Internationale Hochschule, as Head of AI in G2M, driving intake in remote students and building the domain from scratch.
Prior to that he worked as a Deep Learning Engineer for 5 years, building state-of-the-art neural networks for computer vision.
Armin holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Economics and a MA in Philosophy & Economics.
Before he turned to AI and the craft of producing the tastiest home grown chili sauces he enjoyed a 7 year career as a professional poker player competing on the highest levels.
Before co-founding complemental.ai, Lukas was the Machine Learning Tech Lead at sensXPERT, building and leading an effective AI team that delivered state-of-the-art machine learning models to optimize manufacturing processes, increasing productivity and reducing waste for customers in various industries.
Before that, he worked as a Data Scientist at Siemens on large-scale industrial digitization projects and as a Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Lukas holds Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and German Literature, as well as a Master's in Computer Science.
In another life, Lukas was involved in several live literature and music projects, performing on stages throughout Germany as an award winning writer.
